Srvey sites areway behind the times

I live in HalifaxNS. My postal code is B3M0M3 and has been for 10 years. It is one of the largest Postal codes inte city.
BUT
As soon as i enter that postal code almost every survey system says that postal code does not exist and then will not let me do the survey. some how this should be updated. I wonder how many otherpostal codes "DO NOT EXIST" be cause the entire survey system is so far out of date. Does anybody EVER update the system. Makes me wonder how many answers to the surveys may be way out of date also.
